• Oxford Properties is seeking a General Maintenance Worker at their site at 1101 New York Avenue, NW.  The duties of the General Maintenance Worker include, but are not limited to:  General upkeep and maintenance of the building – Inspect for building repairs, make simple repairs, and escalate more complex repairs to the Senior Engineer. Respond to tenant service requests in such a professional manner as to delivery excellent customer service and reduce tenant work orders and eliminate recurring problems where possible. Occupational Health and Safety – job hazard assessment, training within safety policy (Genie lift, ACM, WHMIS, first aid, emergency response procedures…), assistance to co-workers where safety code requires, emergency response procedures. Daily inspections for lights – knowledge of base building and specialty lighting, light runs, outlet testing, resetting breakers, identify ballast and fixture problems.
